1Check which dinosaurs are around Fukui Station at the Dinosaur Concierge.
When you arrive at Fukui Station, first check in at the Dinosaur Concierge. The Fukuivenator will show you fun dinosaur encounters and sightseeing spots around the station.

2Take a look at the daily life of dinosaurs.
When you walk along the bus shelter, you will see a mysterious window in which dinosaurs roaming about the area appear. Stop for a moment and take a look.

3Encounter the dinosaur robot Tyrannosaurus
After the bus shelter, you will encounter a Tyrannosaurus calmly standing upright. At first glance, it looks scary, but when it notices you, it enthusiastically greets you.

A little detour
The station building on the right on the way to Dinosaur Square features enormous murals and trick art. We recommend taking pictures of the dinosaurs with this in the background.

4Meet the dinosaur robot Suchomimus.
When you get to the intersection in front of the station, you’ll see another huge dinosaur! It’s a Suchomimus by the shore hunting for fish.

5Take a picture in the square where dinosaurs found in Fukui are gathered together.
With the mural in the background, the square recreates a scene from the Early Cretaceous period of three dinosaurs from the Fukui area staring at each other. In addition, life-size footprints on the ground give you a sense of the enormous size of the dinosaurs.

6Immerse yourself in the aquatic world of the Plesiosaurus.
When you look at the enormous station building mural from Dinosaur Square at the west exit, you can see light coming from the passage below the overpass. As you get closer, an ocean becomes visible within the mysterious light. Take a break on a bench where a Plesiosaurus family is swimming in the water.

7A flock of Pteranodons and their aerial world.
When you leave the aquatic world, you will see a station building mural depicting the aerial world of the Pterosaurs. When you see the life-size Pteranodon and the mural depicting a flock of Pterosaurs, you might not be able to resist flapping your own wings as you stand before it.

A little detour
When you leave the aerial world you will come upon a baby dinosaur sitting on a bench daydreaming about becoming a dinosaur PhD. You will never be able to meet the baby dinosaur anywhere else, so don’t miss your chance to take a picture with him.

8Feel the loving bond between parents and offspring of the Triceratops family at the East Exit landmark.
As you approach the East Exit Square, you will hear the roar of dinosaurs coming from the center of the square. When you look up at the stratum, you will see an enormous Triceratops standing serenely.
Now and then, you will see the Triceratops parents and baby gaze at each other in a moment of love and affection.
If you have time, be sure to take a walk around the area!
