At Dinosaur Square at the Fukui Station West Exit, three dinosaurs with the name Fukui, and which represent Dinosaur Kingdom Fukui, recreate a scene from the Early Cretaceous period.
Tips on how to enjoy your walk
Capture the many expressions of these three life size dinosaur robots by taking pictures of them from various angles. Every 30 minutes, special presentations recreate the ecology of the age of the dinosaurs. What’s more, at night you can also enjoy the lighting-up of these dinosaur robots.

Dinosaur footprint fossils
In front of the dinosaurs are fossil footprints (life-size reproductions) from three types of dinosaurs that were excavated in Fukui Prefecture. Stand on the footprints yourself to see just how big they are!
